No.4 Smoothing Plane – designed for smoothing and final finishing! This plane is made from a high quality grey cast iron body, which offers supreme strength and stability, while the precision ground base and sides deliver flatness and squareness. Machined seating also eliminates movement and blade judder, and the lever cap is complete with a brass locking screw to secure the blade assembly and enable easy release for sharpening. Wooden handles and guidance knobs are included to maximise user comfort, alongside a solid brass blade adjustment nut to complete the appeal of these traditional tools!
No.60 1/2 Block Plane – with plane iron set at 13.5 degrees! This plane is particularly effective on end grain and plastic laminates, and is ideal for any situation where a single-handed operation is required. Featuring a low angle cutter and fully adjustable mouth, from wide for coarse work to narrow for the fine shaving of awkward grain.
